New Research Brief on Worker Voice and Public Policies Published

Thomas Kochan

The MIT Task Force on the Work of the Future has published a new research briefing by MIT Sloan Professor Thomas A. Kochan. In the new briefing, titled "Worker Voice, Representation, and Implications for Public Policies," Kochan "examines the need to rebuild worker voice, power, and representation against the backdrop of building a new social contract at work capable of better meeting the needs of all stakeholders—workers, employers and their investors, and the overall economy and society."

Kochan is the George M. Bunker Professor of Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is a member of the faculty steering committee for the Good Companies, Good Jobs Initiative at MIT Sloan as well as a member of the MIT Task Force on the Work of the Future.

You can read Kochan's new research brief as well as a short Q&A with him about some of the paper's key findings.  Kochan's research brief is part of a series that the MIT Task Force on the Work of the Future is publishing.
