Please join us for “Designing the Flexible Workplace,” a virtual panel discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 22 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. EDT. The MIT Institute for Work and Employment Research (IWER) is offering this event in partnership with the MIT Sloan People & Organizations Club.

“Designing the Flexible Workplace” will feature three expert panelists: MIT Sloan Professor Erin L. Kelly, Co-Director of IWER as well as Faculty Director of the Good Companies, Good Jobs Initiative at MIT Sloan; Rajesh AnandanCEO and Co-Founder of Ultranauts, Inc.; and Ramona Allen, Vice President for Human Resources at MIT.

The discussion will explore topics such as:

  • What will “the office” look like for employees in the future?

  • What should employers consider when thinking about how to design a remote or hybrid workplace?

  • How can employers ensure a strong collaborative culture in hybrid and remote settings?

  • How do more flexible workplaces impact the role of managers within companies?

This webinar is the first installment of the Building a Better World of Work 2021-22 speaker series co-produced by the MIT Sloan People & Organizations Club and IWER. The event is open to the public, but registration is required.
